In 2022 we have collaborated in two projects with EDEKA, the Basque Coordination of Representatives of People with Disabilities, representative of the entities of the Third Social Sector, associations and networks that work in the defence of their rights.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n On the one hand, together with all the associations that make up the Coordinating Committee, we produced the guide “How to talk about people with disabilities. Recommendations to build from Communication”, a set of advice and suggestions for the media, which aims to teach how to communicate about people with disabilities accurately and respectfully. We have also learned a great deal in the preparation of this guide.<\/span><\/p>\n We also collaborated in the organisation and running of the conference “Communicating disability. Challenges to build from communication”, held in San Sebastian at the end of October, as part of the activities organised by EDEKA to coincide with the celebration of its 20th anniversary.
