Despite the undeniable steps of all kinds, the participation of women in the decision-making is far from equality. Evidences point this out and so do the voices of the women from Navarra who we have worked with within the pilot project that the INAI (Institute for Equality of Navarra) trusted us,

From November 2018 to April 2019, we have designed and given this programme, oriented to the empowerment of women in local politics in Navarra; a programme that has among its objectives to increase their participation within the decision-making spaces. The itinerary started on the 14th of January 2019, with the constitution in Pamplona of the Forum of Politician Women at Local Entities of Navarra, as a result of the commitment stablished in the “2018-2020 Strategy for the social and political participation of women in the public politics of the Foral Community of Navarra. During this period, we have worked on the strengths and the resistances in four different workshops with more than 30 women from Navarra, including the presentation and conclusion sessions, which were celebrated in an open format.

And thanks to this work, we may confirm the following hypotheses: when the conversation works, the enrichment is mutual and the shared strategies come up as key to improve the world. After all, isn’t it all about that?
